Cross Country
(5K & 10K)

Cross Country is being held in Outdoor Valley, on the edge of the Hoge Bergse Bos park in Rotterdam. At this location, various group activities can also be enjoyed. Cross country originated just before the beginning of the 20th century. A field race runs over a 3-12 kilometer long unpaved course, and one or more laps are run. The Kenyan Paul Tergat was world champion five times in a row. In the Netherlands, where the sport is slightly smaller, the Tilburg Warandecross is the largest international tournament.
